LITTLE BOLLINGTON PARISH MEETING

LITTLE BOLLINGTON SCHOOL 
 
The meeting will consider important matters including: 
 
Planning Application for dog exercise area 
The Dog Bus Company will explain the application and the meeting will consider reported concerns eg noise, pollution, effects on neighbouring fields, licence to operate etc
 
Design proposals for Stamford Arms site 
Novo will present design plans and illustrations which have been revised following the recent consultation. The meeting will consider local concerns eg parking and the modern look extension. 
 
Campaign to reinstate the bus service 
Latest plans for action to reinstate our bus service. News from the BUS4US campaign. New government funding for local bus services. Lobbying CEC to allocate funds to our area. Councillor, Kate Parkinson, will be present to offer advice.
 
Little Bollington Neighbourhood Plan 
Kirsty Mann, Project Manager and mastermind for the Neighbourhood Plan, will present an update on the Plan and its importance to the village. Copies of the Plan will be available. 
 
Updates on other issues 
 
Future arrangements for LBPM 
The Clerk will explain options for secure and stable arrangements for administration of the Parish to enable it to continue to operate in future.
 
Flooding in Little Bollington 
An opportunity to raise concerns about recent flooding incidents in the village and consider steps to be taken to minimise risks in future.
 
Replacement of farm gates 
Legal advice received on request for reimbursement of cost (c£300)
 
Speeding on local lanes – proposals for campaign action 
Responses and progress in the campaign launched by Councillor Kate Parkinson
 
Dunham Estate Future Project 
Progress by the National Trust in developing a long term plan for the wider Dunham Massey estate covering the park and grounds and the surrounding villages and farmland.

You will be able to view copies of our draft Neighbourhood Plan, plus ask any questions and supply any comments. You can also email the Clerk to Little Bollington Parish Meeting - Mike Reed - at:  clerk@littlebollington.org or you can contact him on 07766 083765 

 

 

We do hope you can join us, as the Neighbourhood Plan is an important community document and we welcome all feedback. 

YE OLDE No3 - LOOKING FOR STAFF

 

Ye Olde No3 just gets busier and busier. So, they are now looking for more staff. Front of House and Kitchen. Hours to suit and experience not necessary. All they are looking for are eager, committed and reliable staff.
